Meditation for the Rest of Us

Meditation is often presented as something abstract or difficult to integrate into daily life. Night Club’s upcoming course with Andrea Loreto offers a different approach.

Inspired by his main teacher, Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche, Andrea believes meditation belongs in everyday life, not just on the cushion. His teaching is guided by the understanding that ordinary moments can become opportunities to recognize our innate basic goodness.
Meditation for the Rest of Us offers a clear, down-to-earth approach to meditation that fits the realities of modern life. Rather than abstract theory or complicated techniques, participants learn how to bring awareness and ease into ordinary moments. The program supports steadiness, clarity, and genuine well-being in the midst of whatever life brings.
This course is open to everyone, from complete beginners to those with an established practice. Through guided meditations, reflection, and simple conversation, participants are supported in recognizing their own natural calm and clarity. Together, we’ll explore three core themes: Presence — noticing what’s happening in your mind and body, moment by moment Kindness — meeting yourself and others with warmth and understanding Curiosity — staying open to experience and discovering insight in daily life By the end of the course, meditation is no longer something extra to add to life — it becomes a way of engaging more fully with life itself.

Anytime Anywhere Meditation

Watch this three minute video introduction to Anytime Anywhere Meditation:

Anytime Anywhere Meditation (AAM) captures the essence of meditation practice in a simple, easy-to-apply approach that focuses on the practical benefits of meditation, making it relevant to everyday life. Many people can benefit from a meditation practice, though they may not have had an opportunity to learn meditation or may have tried meditation and felt that it’s not for them. Through a focus on fundamentals, the AAM course provides participants with an easily understood journey to well-being. Accessible to people of all cultures and faiths, AAM makes meditation practice approachable and effective.

The AAM course was developed by meditation teacher Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche. This innovative curriculum captures the essence of the Joy of Living program and shares time-tested methods to help connect us to our innate well-being. Even if this seems like a far-off, unattainable goal, Mingyur Rinpoche’s light-hearted approach helps students uncover innate qualities, demonstrating that we don’t need to change ourselves to be happy, but simply discover what we already possess within. Through the AAM course, students explore how although outer circumstances may indeed be challenging or anxiety-provoking, well-being is right beneath the surface.
Further, the AAM course includes practical instructions to cultivate a sense of being present (awareness), to be kind (love and compassion), and to be curious (wisdom). These instructions are delivered through videos, guided meditations, and custom-tailored instruction from highly-trained guides. To meet participants’ individual needs, training includes plenty of time for self-reflection, which allows participants to reflect on their own learning processes and areas of growth.
By attending the AAM course, participants will have a unique opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the powerful benefits of meditation.
